Skyward Sword and Minecraft 11w49a

I just got Skyward Sword! Love it! I will review it soon!

Oh yes! The new Minecraft update is out! 11w49a, this update adds:

Multi-language support
Sheep eat grass and regain their wool
Spwaner eggs!!!

Spawner eggs only show up in creative, but they are AWESOME.
Let's say you want three creepers in your backyard, just get the creeper spawn egg, right click on the ground and POOF! A creeper is there.

Updating on the launcher will not work (it didn't work for me). So what you need to do is follow these steps. (singleplayer only)

1-First, download the client, then you should get a folder named minecraft.jar and drag that to your desktop

2-Now to install it. For Windows go to User-AppData-Roaming-Minecraft-Bin and for Mac users go to User-Library-Application Support-Minecraft-Bin. Then rename the minecraft.jar folder that's already in your bin to minecraftbackup.jar, Drag minecraftbackup.jar to your desktop, then drag the new minecraft.jar to the bin!

3-Open up Minecraft and it should work.

That's it for today!
Tomorrow is the review of actual review of Minecraft!

Here are three scores I'm definitely NOT giving Minecraft.

70 85 50

How I Play Minecraft

Okay. I play creative mode in Minecraft, The reason is because I'm a builder not a survivor. So my review of it is going to be about CREATIVE Minecraft. But I have played survival before and none of my experiences were bad at all, I just prefer creative because I like to build.

Enough of the "I love creative" stuff. Now I will name some stuff that I built on my creative map. (no screenshots)

Amusment park (with rollercoaster that goes up to the limit of building up)
Many many houses
The Slime Co. Castle (More into this later)
Giant Wiimote!
And much much more
The map is also not available for download.

Okay! See you on Sunday! (maybe earlier)

Monopoly Streets Review

Okay, My last review was going to be Super Mario Bros 2 but I don't like that game. So Monopoly it is!

Presentation:
The game succeeds in this category. There are 2 boards to start out with, a classic board and city. The city is well polished and looks nice, but something bothered me about it, I enjoyed playing on the classic boards better. There are also unlockable boards such as a sweet board, a cheese board and my favorite, a cardboard board. There's also a Landmark City, but I hated the Landmark City. I also like that when you buy a house or hotel it's building will correspond with the value. For example if you get a hotel on Baltic Avenue (low value), you get a motel. If you get something like a pink. It gives you a nicer hotel.
I give this a 85.

Sound:
Have you ever played a game with music and sound effects so annoying but it was good. Well this game is my experience with that experience above. This game is so annoying when it comes to sound. The voices are annoying, especially the Top Hat (which I always played as because it was just so annoying yet funny). Mr. Monopoly wasn't so annoying but he was annoying to listen to over and over again. Music wasn't that annoying. Trust me, you'll never forget those voices. Trust me.
This is hard to judge because it's funny but annoying. So I'm going give this a balanced score. I give it a 50.

Graphics:
They were what you would have expected with a Wii game. Not too bad, not too good either. The character and building models looked decent enough. I give this a 70.

Gameplay:
It's Monopoly, you can't beat it. The gameplay is classic. And to make things more fun they add in a city, different boards and a fun atmosphere. I give this an 100

Lasting Appeal:
The game is replayable, but just like a lot of board games. It's a shelf sitter. But you will probably pull it out at game nights with family and friends. Unlockable content also delivers. I give this a 89.

Overall:
I liked this game. It lasted long and had lots of different boards to play on. But the sound and graphics didn't work for me. But I thought the gameplay was classic and memorable.
I give Monopoly Streets a 79!

Cooking Mama: World Kitchen Review

Let me say that Mama is very skilled. She cooks, she gardens, she crafts, she babysits and now she even CAMPS. What's next? Cleaning Mama? She seems to like doing it, so I would love her in my house.

Presentation:
The game is presented very nicely. It looks cute and fun. And they present you with a ton of recipes so I think it succeeds in this category. But I still feel there's something missing. I give this a 70.

Sound:
Not good. The music tracks feel all the same. Don't get me started on the voices, they are terrible. I give this a 20.

Graphics:
Are you kidding me. All the characters look all...bad and so does the food. They should have put more effort into it. Heck, Luigi's Mansion had better graphics than this. I give this a 35.

Gameplay:
This is basically a minigame collection and a very bad one at that. First of all, the controls don't work very well. There are a lot of recipes. But most of the steps for making the recipes are almost all the same, so you don't have that much of a different experience while making all the recipes. AND WHY THE HECK ARE MAMA'S EYES BURNING? First of all, this kid is like, 12 years old AND YOU EXPECT HIM TO PREPARE AN OCTOPUS WITHOUT HIM SCREWING UP? Yeah, Mama is evil. Another thing I didn't like was that when you were making...let's say a club sandwich and you got a mediocre score, it looked fine and I didn't like that. Overall I give the gameplay a 25.

Lasting Appeal:
Oh yeah, there's a ton of recipes, but as I stated above, they all feel the same. So you won't be getting much of a replay value from this game. There's also a cook with friends mode where you can cook for your friend and a mode where you can challenge a friend or computer player to a cooking battle. There's also a little minigame collection you can unlock. But all that stuff above that I mentioned before sort of sucks so I give this a 25.

Overall:
This has been one of my most critical reviews. Because I thought the game was very repetitive and the controls were bad too. So in the end the game gets. But before we tell you. We'd like to give you a word from our sponsors.

BUY GARDENING MAMA
Now Mama Can Garden! And You Can Help Her!
HOORAY!

I love irony.

Oh yeah, this game gets a 35.

Super Mario 3D Land Review

Before I get this review ready, I'd like make it clear that I don't exactly like the title of the game. Super Mario Land 3D sounds better or Super Mario Bros 3D. It sound like bads grammerz. Anyways, REVIEW TIME!

Presentation:
Nintendo has been getting less fun over these years. Changing their red logo to gray, when they named their new handheld console they just added a 3 at the beginning. But this game still doesn't make up for it. The boxart is not that exciting looking. But WHO cares. The game itself has a lot of worlds. SPOILER WARNING AHEAD, there are eight regular worlds and eight special worlds, so that means there's sixteen worlds all together. I think this game is good in terms of presentation, I give this a 90.

Sound:
The soundtrack is...weak. There aren't those tracks that you're going to remember forever, I would have preferred a orchestrated soundtrack. But I know the 3DS has less capabilities than the Wii. But how come I can put the Super Mario Galaxy music on my 3DS sound and it sounds perfect. I guess I shouldn't expect that as this game is a handheld game. But I still like some of the tracks. I give this a 77.

Graphics:
Absolutely beautiful. I think the 3D is cool. Even though I don't use it very much because it hurts my eyes. But without the 3D the game is still beautiful and colorful. The character models are absolutely marvelous and the backgrounds are also cool too. I give this a 95.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is better than Super Mario 64 but worse than Super Mario Galaxy. The gameplay is a mix of Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario 64. They even brought back a power-up from Mario 3, the tanooki suit. Which I really liked. The game also controls perfectly. The game is played like a regular 3D Mario platformer like Super Mario Galaxy. I give this a 96.

Lasting Appeal:
I changed the title of this subject because I didn't like preservation. The game will last you for a long time. There are Star Medals which you can collect and using those Star Medals you can unlock new stages, and it gives you something to brag about. And the levels are also fun to replay, I give this a 95.

Overall:
The game is fantastic and has lots of reply value and great gameplay. So it gets a...90!

Just Dance 3 Review

Yay! More dancing!
I have reviewed all Just Dance games after this! Wait...I haven't? There's a kids edition...AND a Michael Jackson edition...A BROADWAY EDITION...OKAY OKAY...A DOWLOADABLE SONGS EDITION...A KIDS 2 EDITION?
I guess I haven't reviewed all the games. But I've reviewed the main series after this.

Presentation:
About the same amount of modes from Just Dance 2 with some unlockable content which I'll get into later. The menu looks fresh and clean and they present you with a great amount of songs. I give this a 90.

Sound:
The track list is awesome, ranging from pop to movie soundtracks, this game has almost everything you can think of. Even the sound effects are cool. I give this a 100.

Graphics:
Haven't really improved from Just Dance 2. But I still like them. I give this a 89.

Gameplay:
I love the style of this game. The dance moves are awesome and I think they've improved the motion controls. Just Sweat has improved as it is built in to the main game as long as you're playing on your profile. I give this a 100.

Preservation:
You get stars when you dance and those stars unlock new content such as new songs, dance mashups and medleys. I think having no unlockable content was a major problem in the past games and now it isn't. Oh yeah, there is no ending to this game so you could be playing forever. I give this a 100.

Overall:
This is the best Just Dance yet. It's better than 1 and 2. Unlockable content is also a step up.
I give Just Dance 3 a 95

News

I changed the clue for my next review. You probably all know what it is though.

I got some new games though, Minecraft, Just Dance 3 and Metroid Prime. Oh yeah, I found Metroid Prime for 6 BUCKS at a used bookstore and it was in perfect condition!

I'll tell you the next review because I think it's easy what game it is. It's Just Dance 3.
Minecraft is the game I'm playing least out of the 3 games mentioned above.
Metroid Prime is what I call awesome.

Bye!

Character Battle!

Character battle time!
Well...
I''ve never done one of these, so heres how it works!

I will get a hat of 10 characters from videogames on this day. Then I'm going to pick 4 to stay in. Then those 3 of those four are going to be out, thus leaving one winner.

The contenders are:
Goombella
Larry
Fawful
Koopa Troopa
Mii
Pac-Man
Sonic
Kazooie
Mr. Patch
Lugia

Give me some time to make the names, and find the perfect hat. (P.S, I'm just using a random generator online)

One finalist is Larry!
Another is Goombella!
Then Pacman!
And finally....Mii

Now to do the elimination, I'm going to get a random number generator. And set it between 1 and 4. If it gets 1, Larry is out, If it gets 2, Goombella is out, If it gets 3, Pacman is out, and if it gets 4, Mii is out.

Larry is out!

Goombella-1
Pacman-2
Mii-3

Pacman is out!

Goombella-1
Mii-2

Mii is out! Goombella won!

Goombella gets a story about her coming out tomorrow.

Off Topic Music Thingy

(Bad capitalization but who cares!)

>Taio Cruz bought some illegal Dynamite then Kesha stole his watch and watched it go Tick Tock then Bruno Mars stole it and threw a Grenade at her which missed and hit Willow Smith whose hair whipped. That scared Emniem so he said I’m Not Afraid to himself. Then Cee-Lo said Forget You to Emniem. Then Avril Lavinge was like, what the hell. Then Katy Perry saw that Avril cursed so she exploded like a firework. Then the Black Eyed Peas got a feeling that the world was gonna end. Then Justin Bieber was like oh Baby, I wish the world didn’t end. Then Rebecca Black woke up and she said it was just a dream and got ready for Friday.

Super Mario Galaxy Review

I reviewed Super Mario Galaxy 2! Now I'm reviewing the game before that!

Presentation:
There are a ton of galaxies to explore. And I mean a ton. And they were all very fun. Hard. But fun. I thought that the comets added some variety too. I give this an 100.

Sound:
A great soundtrack full of epic choruses, nostalgic themes and a whole bunch more. Sound effects are lovely too. I give this an 100.

Graphics:
Very good graphics. The galaxies are all very clean. These are probably the best Wii graphics ever. I really liked these. I give this an 100.

Gameplay:
I like the gameplay here much more than 64 and Sunshine (I'm probably never going to review those games, they're just too outdated). Because Super Mario Galaxy has more of a linear style than a sandbox style. I like the linear style because it's super easy to find out where you're going. Unlike the sandbox which is confusing and makes the game unfun to play. I give this an 100.

Preservation:
There is a story mode, and afterwards you can collect the rest of the stars. And something about that is very compelling. And after that you can play as Luigi, who is just like Mario but harder to control. So in the end I'm going to give this a 99

Overall:
In the end it was so close. I rounded it up. And guess what. It gets a perfect 100. Second time on Flagpole X history. This is the second best Mario game to date.

Face Raiders Review

You might have seen that I've been doing reviews more often. Why? I don't know. But this is the only game where you can shoot anybody in the face!

Presentation:
The number of faces you can choose is nearly endless. But the limited modes keep this from getting the highest score. I give this an 82.

Sound:
Pretty great soundtrack here. A slapstick, upbeat fun track. The final level music is more epic than pizza pie. I give this a 90.

Graphics:
Since it takes place in the real world it must have good graphics. Well no. The graphics are sort of choppy and not good. The .3 megapixel camera doesn't give the best quality either. Yes, I said .3 megapixel not 3 megapixel .3, I give this a 40.

Gameplay:
The basic gameplay is shootin' yourself in da face! (yeah...of course you would want to do that) The game is addictive and fun. Not Angry Birds addictive, but addictive enough that you'll keep playing. The levels are a fair amount of difficulty. I give this a 75.

Preservation:
Now after you're done playing this game. You probably won't want to play this again, much like the other pre-installed game of the 3DS (even though the in-reviewing one is way better), but it is more addictive. So I'm giving this a 50.

Overall:
This game is good for a tech demo. But isn't good for a fun, addicting game. But it came with the 3DS, so I'm going to be fair and give this a fair 67.

Just Dance 2 Review

Before I start this review, I'd like to say that this game is very memorable because I play it with my family a lot. And I mean a lot. I have two cousins who play it with me. But since no categories judge memory, I'm adding 5 points because this is a very memorable game to me. And it's the sequel to the first game I've ever reviewed.

Presentation:
There are 44 songs in this game. And not one was bad. The original had some songs that were bad. But this one had a great mix of great songs. And you can download more. So I give this a 95.

Sound:
This is where the game is great. The sound. The music is perfect. Sound quality is excellent. I have no choice but to give this an 100.

Graphics:
Everybody complains about how the graphics are bland and unrealistic. But these graphics are what the creators wanted to do. But they aren't the best. So I'm going to give this a 90 for fair measure.

Gameplay:
Even a 1 year old can understand it. It's very easy. You mimic the dancer on the screen. And well...that's it. Some moves are lame, some moves are fun and some moves are crazy. I think it's a very good concept. Unlike Dance Dance Revolution which is basically moving your feet up, right, down, left. I did wish they had leg straps that recognized your legs, but they are coming out with Just Dance 3 for Kinect. I give this an 100.

Preservation:
This is a game that is very replayable unlike the first Just Dance. Mainly because this one has better songs, more modes and downloadable content. But some of the modes are bad. So I'm going to give this a 90.

Overall:
Now this came out strange. I had an average of 95. So that would mean that I would give this game an 100. But I feel it doesn't deserve an 100 or a 95. So for the first time ever. I'm not averaging. And giving my score on this game. And I give a 90.

PokePark Wii Review

Pokemon do battles, Pokemon do contests and Pokemon are pets. Now they do...Minigames!

Presentation:
There are 8 zones to explore. But I'm only going to talk about 5. There is the Meadow Zone, Lava Zone, Beach Zone, Iceberg Zone and Cavern Zone. And they are all fun to explore. But the amount of minigames (or "attractions", as the game calls them) will leave you wondering. This gets a 85.

Sound:
Pretty good tunes. But more of background music than a tune you'll hear though. The "attraction" themes are very nice too. I give this a 75.

Graphics:
You know what. These are excellent graphics. The landscapes, Pokemon and the attractions are beautiful. But if I gave these an 100 I'd feel like I'd be lying. So I give this a 90.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is varied. It's basic goal is that you have to save this stupid meadow because a asteroid is going to fall on it. Okay. Maybe that wasn't the story but is a good analogy. And why was a mouse chosen to save the world. I'd be expecting somebody like Sycther. Anyways I hate games that overuse motion controls. But this game UNDERUSES motion controls. There is only 1 motion control in this game. And that's shaking to do your iron tail. But the most important part is the fun factor. Yes It's funnest for kids who are under 13. But parents will enjoy it due to it's non-violent and cute atmosphere. But teenagers might not enjoy it due to it being too "kiddy". But I enjoyed it. So I give it a 70.

Preservation:
Yeah. I beat this game in about 5 or 4 hours without including breaks. Then you can make friends...if you really want to. The most lasting thing in the game are attractions. And they'll last you until you find a new game. I give this a 20.

Overall:
The main problem about this game is that older kids might not find appeal in it. But for younger kids it's a great game. So I'm judging this one my point of view. And it gets a 68 with the title of "OK".

Luigi's Mansion Review

I'm sorry I haven't been writing in a while! Anyways. I forgot about the review yesterday. So here it is today!

Presentation:
Luigi's Mansion on the outside looks like a cheesy game. But in reality, face it. It's spookier than you'd imagine. So basically it tricks you. But the game is very spooky. But I'm not the person who likes all that horror stuff. So I have to pretend to be on of those people. Hmm...I think the theme and presentation is well done. I give this a 95.

Sound:
Very spooky. E. Gadd's voice is also pretty freaky. And of course, if you've played Brawl, you're sure to remember the excellent theme. This gets a 95.

Graphics:
Wait a second...This is a launch title? These are amazing graphics! 100!

Gameplay:
So you're Luigi, yada yada yada, and you discover a mansion which is haunted. So that might not be the story but it's sort of the premise. So this old man gives you a super hyper galactic supercalifragilecexpialidocious duper muper amazing vaccum that can suck up ghosts. Easy, right? Well it's not. Luigi's mansion is actually a hard game. The reason it's hard is because it's nothing but a big huge maze. Sucking up ghosts might be easy. But the final boss, ugh...
This gets a 95.

Preservation:
There is no point even touching the disc after you've played it. 10.

Overall:
This game is great. But if you want a lengthy experience, you can't find that in this game. But my score is 79 with the title of "Good". Hope you have a ghost day! (I screwed up...)

Sorry. But the E3 reviews won't be happening. I hope this doesn't trouble anyone!

E3 2011 Part 2: Nintendo

We ended E3 with Nintendo's press conference. And it was great. Here were the games I remembered:
Mario Kart 3DS
Luigi's Mansion 2
Kid Icarus Uprising
Super Mario 3D
Star Fox 64 3D
Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Wii U (the new console!)
Super Smash Bros. 4 (or as I call it, Rumble!)
And many many more.

Now let's review!

Feel:
Look into Shigeru Miyamoto's eyes and you'll be happy. This gets an 100.

Showcase:
Not one Nintendo developed game looked bad. All the games actually looked great. There were also a lot of games. But the best one here goes to the amazing look and feel of Super Mario 3D. I love SMB3 and this game looks like a perfect tribute to it. Luigi's Mansion 2 was also nice too.
This gets a 99.

New Stuff:
For god's sake, Nintendo announced a new console. That's new. But the console didn't seem exciting unless you have to share a TV. It looked nice. But I'm probably getting something else next year, not the Wii U. This gets a 85.

Overall:
I loved this years conference. I think this was a great conference. Mainly due to the in depth looks of the new 3DS games. Not the Wii U. I give this conference a 94 with the title of "Awesome"

E3 2011 Delay

Okay...I'm not reviewing the press conferences in order. Mainly because I missed a few yesterday, it was getting so late and I woke up at 7 AM (that's EARLY for me, sometimes I wake up at 10:30 AM (I really do)...so yeah) So here is the order for the next reviews. Nintendo, Sony, Ubisoft and maybe EA.

Anyways. I'm sorry for the delay, there will also be only 1 post a day. Even if I watch all of them in one day.

Nintendo's is at 11:30 CT!

E3 2011 Part 1: Microsoft

Microsoft's press conference was a great way to start out every gamers favorite holiday, E3. It's just like the 12 days of Christmas...but with press conferences instead of days. I'm doing a overview of all press conferences expect EA.
Microsoft showed so many games. So I can't go over all of them. I'll name all I can remember.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (My dad likes the CoD series a lot. The graphics look nice)
Tomb Raider
Mass Effect 3
Sesame Street: Once Upon a Monster
Kinect Fun Labs (Most innovative I've seen so far.)
Disneyland Adventures (Finally! A Disneyland game that isn't dark and depressing!)
Kinect Sports: Season 2
Dance Central 2

But the one that will make all the fans go crazy, was at the very end. Halo 4.

Now I'm going to rate the conference. But in terms of Feel, Showcase and New Stuff

Feel:
The conference was very nice. The star was Kinect. I'm probably going to get Kinect. All the people had good games, and the conference just had an amazing feel to it.
This gets a 95.

Showcase:
There were some good titles like CoD: MW3, Mass Effect 3 and Kinect Fun Labs. But there were some throwaways like Disneyland Adventures and Kinect Sports: Season 2. (Once Upon a Monster looks like a great game for little kids, so that isn't a throwaway)
This gets a 85.

New Stuff:
Nothing new exactly, A lot of the titles are sequels. Microsoft didn't exactly announce any new add ons. Maybe a Kinect 1.1 would be nice. I think it goes like this, first year announce Kinect and talk about how well it's going to do, second year talk about how well it's been doing, third year talk about how well it's been doing and announce Kinect 2, and do the same thing the next 3 years.
This gets a 50.

Overall:
The conference was good. But what I heard about last years conference, this one is a step up. And you should watch it due to it's good feel and amazing showcase.
Microsoft's conference gets a 76 with the title of "Good"

Wii Sports Resort Review

Hello! I'm listening to DARE for some reason (RANDOM MOMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!). And I'm ready to review Wii Sports Resort!

Presentation:
There are 12 DARE...Excuse me. Let me turn of the DARE...ugh...music. Yes, where was I? There are 12 sports to choose from. Including swordplay, wakeboarding, and basketball. But only 10 of the games are new. They brought back golf and bowling. HOLY CRAP! Why is DARE back on? I guess it was DARE meant for me. I guess I'll have to keep DARE DARE on the DARE computer. Good news, DARE is over. Where was I? Table tennis is the same thing on tennis on the original Wii Sports. But I didn't say 3 CONCEPTS were borrowed. I said 2 sports. The menu looks good. The game was also advertised with the Wii MotionPlus device too, which actually works well.
This gets an 88.

Sound:
Not bad. But not very memorable either, it's OK. The sound effects are nice though, so this one gets a pass from me. I give this a 70.

Graphics:
Eh. They're OK. Not the best at the time. It is an improvement over the original Wii Sports though. I give this a 60.

Gameplay:
Since there are 12 different games on here. I'll look over my 3 favorites, Swordplay, Basketball and Air Sports. (note that only 1 mode for each of the sports will be included.)
The swordplay duel is where you try to knock each other off a platform with a sword. What I don't understand is how they get back up. They fall down from a VERY high platform. And in 5 seconds they get back up? My feeling is that these are wizard Miis, and they magically teleport back up. This game I enjoyed due to it's complete usage of the Wii MotionPlus. Basketball is the least messed up sport that I'm looking over. You play a 3 on 3 pickup game and dribble the Wiimote to dribble (big surprise). And jump and thrust your Wiimote foward to shoot. Air Sports is extremely messed up. I crash my plane into a mountain. And my plane isn't damaged at all? Neither am I hurt. I also fall in lava and water. Get hit by cars. And I'm still alive? Oh no...DARE. It's being turned off DARE right now. There we go! Air Sports might be messed up. But it's still a fun game to play. All the other games are also fun to play. This gets a...95.

Preservation:
This game is extremely replayable. You can earn do special achievements to earn stamps. And all the sports are fun to play over and over again. This gets a 95.

Overall:
The second best game in the "Wii" series. Second only to Wii Party. The game is fun, re-playable, has tons of sports, and gets an 81 with the title of "Great"

New Super Mario Bros. Review

Mario started out as a sidescroller. Now it's that again! Here's the review!

Presentation:
The game looks good on the shelf. You'll really want to play it. Now this is a game ANYBODY can play. Well, if you grew up in the 80's or just so happen to have an old NES like me, this game will bring back memories. There are different modes to choose from. Mario Game (main game), Mario vs. Luigi (online multiplayer), Minigames (also online multiplayer) and Options (the most exciting mode in the game). There are many levels. This gets an 100.

Sound:
Music for this game is absolutely wonderful. If that wasn't good enough, the sound effects will bring back memories. Some of the tracks do get repetitive though. So I'll give this a...95!

Graphics:
It looks 3D. But...It's not 3D. It's 2.5D. You're in a 3D world. But it controls like the original Super Mario Bros. I like how the game is done. Taking the original Mario. And enhancing graphics. This gets a 99.

Gameplay:
The gameplay is GREAT. No flaws whatsoever. It plays just like the original Mario. But with new features, levels and much more. Needless to say, this gets an 100.

Preservation:
You'll be done with the game pretty fast. But then you have the star coins to collect. I never did the star coins that much. But I like the idea of it. So I'll have to give this a 96.

Overall:
This game is a gem. A DS isn't complete without this game, Actually, a Mario fan isn't complete without this game. The gaming world wouldn't be complete without this game. The great preservation, great sound, the excellent graphics, the well made gameplay, and the great idea for star coins, makes this game deserve a 98.

AR Games Review

AR Games is pre-installed with the 3DS. I've always wanted to see Mario on my desk. So let's get this review started!

Presentation:
There are 6 modes to choose from, and some purchasable ones which you can buy with play coins.
They are:
Fishing
Archery
AR Shot
Grafitti
Star Pics
Mii Pics

The purchasable modes are:
Archery 2
AR Shot 2
Free Fishing
Fish Gallery
Clock
Globe
3D Tools

You can also purchase an option that lets you take a picture while playing.
The question comes to quality vs. quantity. And you know what. The only modes I come back to play are Archery 1 and 2. Fishing, Graffiti, Star and Mii pics and 3D Tools. It's sad when the majority of the modes in the game aren't that great. I still did have some fun with AR shot. But a clock? It seems they were running out of ideas. Hopefully they'll make some downloadable content for this game. Like maybe a board game, or a simple around the track go kart racing game. The score is...70!

Sound:
Bad. Not many tracks. And even some of the better tracks are just...mediocre. I give this a 25.

Graphics:
Not that great. The real world looks nice of course, but the in game objects, aren't that great. Now they aren't horrible. I've definitely seen worse. But...yeah. I give this a 50.

Gameplay:
There are so many modes to choose from. But I'll go over 3, Fishing, Archery and AR Shot.
Archery is played like this, you shoot targets and at the end, fight a dragon. This mode isn't too shabby. But you won't come back to it. AR shot is a mix between pool and golf. You try to shoot a ball in a hole, and at the end, there's a dragon; this mode wasn't too bad. But god is it hard. It took me many tries until I faced off against the dragon. Fishing is OK. You use your 3DS like a fishing rod and catch different fish. This mode was boring, but something about it makes me want to keep playing it. The gameplay is nice, but you won't get into this. I give this a 75.

Preservation:
You won't come back to this. The game is done once you're done. You'll come back once in a while. But there's a big chance you won't. This gets a 25.

Overall:
The game is perfect being built in. The game sounds cool. But in reality. It isn't. It's not much of a game. More like a tech demo for the 3DS's capabilities. And a pretty bad one at that. But it's still fun for the while. This game gets a score of 49 with the title of "Bad"

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga Review

I love the original Lego Star Wars, mainly because it's one of the first games I've ever played. Then I got Lego Star Wars II. Which was cool too. Then I got both of those games mixed together. And now, here's the review!

Presentation:
There are different modes to choose from. Such as playing the story, free play, and a secret Bounty Hunter mission mode. And I'm surprised that the majority of the modes are very fun to play. I give this a 95.

Sound:
All the music is borrowed from the movies. And even because it was borrowed, it still doesn't mean that the music isn't a masterpiece. I give this an 89.

Graphics:
Excellent. Even though it does look a little, um...blocky. It still has a nice cartoonish look to it. I give this a 96.

Gameplay:
All Lego games play the same. But does it mean they play bad? Absolutely not. They play great. You shoot people, get studs, and just do cool stuff. I give this an 100.

Preservation:
OMG. First you play the story, then free play to get the minikits, then play the bounty hunter missions, and the bonus missions. Whoa. Needless to say, this gets an 100.

Overall:
This game is wonderful. If you think about getting a Lego game, get this one. The score is 96 with the title of "Awesome"

Super Mario Galaxy 2 Review

Hello! I'm going to review Super Mario Galaxy 2! For some reason everybody LOVES this game. And they have a reason to love it. Let's begin!

Presentation:
There are so many galaxies to explore. And even if you're done with them, you'll still keep coming back to play them over again. I did feel that some of the galaxies were rip-offs from the first game, like the Honeyhop Galaxy and the Haunty Halls galaxy. It felt like they were running out of ideas and had to put new ones in. The score is 90!

Sound:
Marvelous. All the tracks were wonderful. But some of the tracks weren't as great as the first game. This gets an 89.

Graphics:
You know what, these are the best graphics for the Wii out there. The characters are well detailed. The backgrounds are nice and colorful. You can see every star in space. The score is 100!

Gameplay:
Great. Excellent. The gameplay is a gem. All the levels had a fair difficulty and all the controls worked well. Everything was great. This gets an 100.

Preservation:
WARNING:
HUGE SPOILERS UP AHEAD!
Personally, I've never played the green star thing. And I don't want to. It's just a pain in the butt to replay the game all over again. I do think it will be fun to go back to the old galaxies and look at them, AND there is a special world after the story mode so it makes up for it. The score is...85!

Overall:
You're probably thinking the same thing, "Well of course he's going to give this game an 100! It's the best game ever!" Well, you know what? No. I like this game, but something about it just makes me not want to play it. The score is 92 with the title of "Awesome"

Donkey Kong Country Returns Review

Hello! Donkey Kong Country Returns is a 2.5D side-scrolling platformer with A LOT of bananas. But is it so good it will make you go bananas? Let's find out.

Presentation:
There's a lot of worlds to explore. Ranging from jungles, beaches and even caves. There are also KONG letters and puzzle pieces to collect. But personally, I don't care about that 100% completion stuff. I just care about beating the game. The game isn't too overwhelming, neither is it underwhelming. The controls were perfect; I had no problems with them. I give this a 90.

Sound: Just awesome, all the tracks are different. But follow a type of theme. There's so many tracks to listen to. But the best track of the bunch is the final boss theme. But I'm not spoiling it for you. So you'll have to listen to it on your own. The score is 100.

Graphics:
I LOVE the graphics for this game. They are colorful and fun. But there are some flaws. The DK and Diddy models look perfect. When I said flaws, I meant the menu screen. But who cares. I give this a 96.

Gameplay:
HARD. HARD. HARD. Did you hear I just said HARD. The game is challenging. Not Japanese SMB2 challenging. But won't take you 2 hours to beat. Anyways, where was I? I've played the original DKC. And I saw they did a very good job of bringing back nostalgia. The gameplay is very fun and intuitive. I give this a 98.

Preservation:
As I said, I'm not a 100% completion guy. But, I think the levels are worth coming back to. There's also a time attack mode where you can get through a level as fast as you can. I give this a 90.

Overall:
This is a wonderful game. I recommend buying it to anybody who liked the DKC series back in their childhood. But if you don't like a challenge, maybe just rent it. The overall score is 94, with the title of "Awesome"

Tetris Party Live Review

I had some DSi points, so why not buy a Tetris game? I got it, but do I like it? That is the question. Get ready to make some rows for my first DSiWare review.

Presentation:
Good. There are many modes to choose from. But the best mode is the Wi-Fi mode. I've once beaten two people; and I'm just a beginner! Besides from the Wi-Fi, the presentation is just decent. You have your modes, Play Tetris, Marathon and CPU Battle. The score is 85!

Sound:
Really, I think there are about 3 tracks in the game. They are OK. But I guess the noise when you make a hard drop is cool. The score is 30.

Graphics:
I've got to admit. The graphics were done well. I'm not saying they were excellent. But I see the developers did exactly what they wanted to do. The blocks were well built. You can select backgrounds to see when you're playing. I give this an 87.

Gameplay:
If you've never played a Tetris game before, you try to fill in rows to get points. The gameplay is very addicting. The whole concept is extremely fun. I give this a 90.

Preservation:
You can play this game for years and never stop. As I said earlier, the game is very addicting. It's great if you're in the mood for a nice, simple game. I give this a 95.

Overall:
This game is great. You know what? It's my top recommendation for a DSiWare game, along with Master of Illusion and Oregon Trail. If you like WiFi games; get this. The game is very nice. It's a must have for any DSi owner. The score is...77, with the title of "Good".

NAME CHANGE AND MORE!!!!!!!!!

I've decided to change my blogs name to Flagpole X after Super Mario Bros.
I really started not liking the name WADS. Why?
1-Unappealing
2-My blog is for reviews, not WADS.
3-WADS stands for Wii and DS. I don't do just Wii and DS.

I have more news. I will start doing a new review system. I will give titles to the games. I will NOT change the titles of my old reviews. Here are the titles.

100-Masterpiece
90-99-Awesome
80-89-Great
70-79-Good
60-69-OK
50-59-Mediocre
40-49-Bad
30-39-Awful
20-29-Horrible
10-19-???
1-9-Oh Crap

It will be really rare to give a game a score lower than 10.

Thank you for reading.

Bidoof's Big Bash

Bidoof was sad because nobody liked him. All the fully evolved Pokemon laughed at him, the pseudo-legendaries beat him up. So he decided to get some balloons and throw a party at his dam. Bidoof was so excited to have at least ONE Pokemon come to his party, then when he went outside...
Nothing.
Bidoof then got mad, so he decided to attract attention by stealing from the museum. Bidoof then snuck into the art museum and tried to steal...but it was the middle of the day.
"You'll never make a friend!" a Furret said, "You're just a stupid, dumb mouse!"
Bidoof went home and cried. But then he thought, "Hey! I bet the other Bidoof will play with me!"
He went to the park, but no Bidoof, he went to the zoo, but no Bidoof.
"I give up," he thought.
"Don't!" a mysterious voice said.
"Who is it?" Bidoof said.
"Me! Jirachi!" The voice said.
"Who?"
"Jirachi!" Jirachi said.
"What do you want?" Bidoof asked with disrelief.
"To...BLOW YA UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jirachi said with craziness.
"What?" Bidoof said, "NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The End

The Origin of Mudkip

One day Professor Birch was looking for a water starter Pokemon. So he painted a weird salamander blue and cloned it with his illegal Mewtwo and called it Dudkip. But everybody hated that name and they liked the name Mudkip better. Nobody wanted the Mudkip since it was weird, Then some guy named Brock went "CUTIE PIE!" and stole the Mudkip.
THE END

Super Mario Bros. 3 Review

This is one of the best games ever. Actually, it isn't. Super Mario Bros. 3 IS the best game ever. Here's the review:

Presentation:
This is the first game to incorporate maps in the Mario series. I loved the maps. The first Mario game I played and liked was the original Super Mario Bros. I remember going to the mall one day and getting this system with all these great games. Then I think it stopped working. Luckily we had an old NES with the original Mario AND Mario 3. I liked Mario 1. But I got SO frustrated getting Game Overs and having to start the game over. But Super Mario Bros. 3 doesn't do that. If you lose, you start from the beginning of the world. They could even incorporate a very nice title screen. Controls were flawless too, I give this a score of 100.

Sound:
Some of the tracks were unforgettable. The athletic theme was definitely the best though. All the map tracks suited their world VERY well. The airship music has been remixed like, I don't know; maybe a kajazillion times and I love the music kajizillion times infinity. I will give this 99.

Graphics:
It was from the NES. Don't expect much. NOT! The graphics looked very nice for an NES game. Mario didn't look like 5 blocks on top of each other, he looked real. I would give this a lower score, but this was the best at it's time. I give this a 99.

Gameplay:
Nothing better. You run, jump and even fly. The raccoon suit was the best addition. They better use it in Mario 3DS. The Tanooki, Frog and Hammer suits were all awesome. All the worlds were challenging and fun. There's not much more to say but it's perfect. The score is 100.

Preservation:
With all the fun stuff in the game, you're going to want to play over and over again. If you have the GBA version you'll be playing even more since the levels are now replayable. I give this an 100.

Overall:
I cheated on this a little bit. I rounded up the score. But overall the game is a flawless masterpiece. You did it Nintendo, your game earned the first game on WADS to get a perfect 100. I recommend this to anybody who has a Wii, SNES, NES, GBA or whatever. If you don't have any of those, I would buy it just for the game.
Thank you for reading.

Design Change

In honor of my favorite game, There will be a Super Mario Brothers 3 background for the next 7 days. Thank you for reading.

Mario is Missing Review

I ordered this game to play it for a while. And boy did I play it for a while. I finished it in about 1 hour. What do I think about it? Let's see.

Presentation:
Not much. The story is that Bowser kidnaps Mario. And Luigi must go through the real world and save him. The menu screens are not so hot. I guess the controls worked pretty well. The box art was a little nice. I give it a 50.

Sound:
I never payed attention to the sound. But I remember some of the music sounding not so good. I'm playing on the NES version. But I've watched videos of the Koopalings on the DOS version. That's why I give this a 40.

Graphics:
I have to admit it. This game HAS one of the best graphics on the NES. But don't go buying this game yet. The treasures look very dull and unrealistic. I give it a 55.

Gameplay:
Hmmmmmm.....*zzzz* Oh! yeah! I was thinking how BORING the gameplay was. You play as Luigi and save Mario and collect treasures and kill Koopas. A newborn can kill the final boss and you'll even sometimes get Yoshi to help you out! Plus you don't need Yoshi at all if I recall. The gameplay is not the best I've seen. I give it a...40

Preservation:
You can probably beat the game in 30 minutes and never play it again. There are NO unlockables. 12 levels of boring-ness and nothing good. I give it a 30.

Overall:
Let's put it this way, the game isn't good. Even if you are a fan of geography, don't get this game. If you're looking for a good way to learn geography, go get a interactive globe or go to Wikipedia to learn. I give this game a 43.

Top 5 Funnest Games I've Ever Played in My Whole Life

Okay! These are my Top 5 games ever! I might have not reviewed ALL of these games yet; but I will try to as soon as possible.

RULES:
#1-I can't put a game on this list I haven't played much. For example. If I go to GameStop and demo the latest game for about 2 minutes, It won't be on this list.

#2-Scores Aren't the Deal
Scores do not matter. No matter what. If I give Game A a 77 and Game B 80, I could put Game B higher on the list. This is about how much fun I had playing it.

The list begins now...

5-Super Mario Galaxy 2
I know this game is good. Except it isn't number 1. I still love it though. Yoshi makes a great return in this game. I still haven't collected all 120 stars! Why I love this game is because of all the new different galaxies to explore.

4-Super Mario Galaxy
I personally like Super Mario Galaxy better than it's sequel. Why?
-Hub is better
-Better bosses
Both of those things are only worth about 2 points. But still, I like Super Mario Galaxy better.

3-Pokemon Diamond and Pearl
This is my first Pokemon game. I never knew much about Pokemon. I got this game at the end of 2009. I didn't like it at first. Oh yes, I forgot, I have Diamond. My team is Empoleon, Dialga, Machoke, Psyduck, Staravia and Budew. I don't like battling the Elite Four. Anyways, this game rocks. I said I didn't like it at FIRST. But now it's Number 3. My favorite Pokemon is Togepi.

2-Super Smash Bros. Brawl
This game should have been rated E10. It isn't THAT violent. The game is awesome. A little too great, I've reviewed this game and gave it a 98/100. The highest score I've given to a game. The stages are very great. The new Assist Trophies are fun. (I love Mr. Resetti). and look at the new character roster. Um...There's Lucas, ROB and even Ike. Oh! There is one more. Sonic? That can't be right. Oh well! I guess it is right! Yes, you can play as Sonic AND Snake in this game.

1...
KNOCK KNOCK!
WHAT IS IT?
Guy: Don't you always recap?
Me: Oh yeah!

5-Super Mario Galaxy 2

4-Super Mario Galaxy

3-Pokemon Diamond and Pearl

2-Super Smash Bros. Brawl

1 is...

MARIO IS MISSING!
This game is the most epic, awesome, legendary, and...*gasp*...fun...game...ever. You play as Luigi and get through very varied levels and rescue Mario! The final boss is Bowser who is very fun to fight!
Just kidding, Here's the real game.

SUPER MARIO BROS. 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, I love Super Mario Bros. 3. Whether if I'm playing it on a 5-inch screen, or a plasma TV. All the suits are very very creative. The Tanooki suit might put the words "What the..." on Americans minds. But raccoons turning into statues is a very famous legend in Japan.
The frog suit is annoying when you're on land. But when you use it on water levels it feels great! If you have a Wii, GBA, DS, NES, SNES or emulator. Just get it now. You will enjoy it.

Nintendo 3DS FAKE GAMES!!!!!!!!!

(I made all of these myself)
Super Paper Mario 3DS!

Luigi's Mansion 3DS!

World of Goo 3DS!

I had an Angry Birds one but I can't find it in my file browser.

The pictures are not mine.

Donkey Kong Review

The one that started it all. Donkey Kong. Yes, Donkey Kong is such an old game; but is it a bad game? Maybe it is, maybe it's not.

Presentation:
Well...You start out with a nice 8-bit menu. Not very exciting. The background is very boring and the story is very simple; some girl named Pauline gets kidnapped by a BIG ape and some man needs to save her. The score is 65!

Sound:
Probably one of the best things about the game. Those classic sound effects and music are sure to keep you going. I love the title screen music and the 25m theme is so cool! The score is...75!

Graphics:
It's 8-bit! It is just 8-bit! Nothing exciting. It's really just a bunch of blocks on top of each other, but still has a nice feel to it. The score is...50!

Gameplay:
The way you play is really cool. Jumping over barrels and rescuing some lady. I love it. Very classic and good style. I wish it was a bit more complex though. The score is...80!

Preservation:
You'll be done with it in no time! There are 4 levels (or 3) and they are all pretty easy (except 75m). Not very good; but is still very fun and nice! The score is...45!

Overall:
Donkey Kong is a mediocre game for hardcore gamers. But it is good for casual gamers. Overall this game is recommended for gamers who like all that 8-bit stuff. But if you're a modern gamer; better not buy. The score is...63!

Something Off-Topic

This is SO off topic but I'd like to share this with the readers of my blog!

It's me playing the Harry Potter theme blindfolded!

Top 5 Hardest Mario Levels

Hello! You know, Mario isn't just world 1-1 you know. There is danger; loads of it. So today I'm making a list of all those levels that will make you break your controller.
(This can count any level from Wario, Yoshi or Donkey Kong)

5-World 8 Fortress (Super Mario Bros. 3)
I hate this level so bad! Actually, I sort of have a love/hate thing with it. You need a raccoon suit for this castle and if you don't you have to go through all this trouble getting one! But what ticks me off is that this is a maze! If you make a wrong turn you might be dead anytime soon.

4-Penny Crygor (Wario Ware: Smooth Moves)
It took me FOREVER to get through this level. The boss game is so hard and the new form "The Mortar and Pestle" is so hard to control. I like the music though. Anyways, I hate this level A LOT!

3-Itty Bitty Biters (Donkey Kong Country Returns)
I HATE THOSE FURRY THINGS! This level scared me a bit. It scared me most because of it's intense difficulty. There are these stacker things that will fall down on you and sometimes they'll NEED to fall down on you. I think this is a very hard level (and a scary one too!).

2-World 8-4 (New Super Mario Bros Wii)
It's another underwater level! It's annoying but easy. WRONG! You can't see in this level. You really can't. It's dark and hard. They created this level so we could break our Wii (not really). I still hate this level so bad! I'll always hate it!

Okay! Now what could be the hardest, most evil, most suspenseful level yet? Let's recap!

5-World 8 Fortress (SMB3)

4-Penny Crygor (WW: SM)

3-Itty Bitty Biters

2-World 8-4 (NSMBW)

1...

The Great Tree! (and all other of Chapter 2 in Paper Mario 2)

I don't like this chapter. I don't like it AT ALL! What is so annoying? Well...here is why it is annoying.
-YOU HAVE TO GET 101 PUNIES TO FOLLOW YOU AROUND AT ALL TIMES!!!!!!!!!!
-Some weird dude sets a bomb for 5 minutes and you have to get out! (this is annoying because it is a maze)
-All the colors are depressing

Okay! That wraps it up! I would have chosen the Great Maze for the hardest level, but it doesn't qualify! Be sure to check out the new poll!

Top 10 Mario Songs (REMADE!)

Whoa! Another one? Yeah, My song list has changed. Here is the list!

10-Yoshi's Story Boss
Cute, but very epic. It has a very nice parade march to it. I've never fought Cloud N Candy but I heard he is so hard and it takes people like, 100 times to beat him.

9-Armed Boss
Very fast and well paced. I loved Super Mario RPG (but that final boss is so hard!) and I love this song. NYAAAAAAAAAH!

8-Elder Princess Shroob Battle
SO EPIC! Now I think this boss is so creepy. But the music is what takes the cake. It's so epic! I know I just said that but I wanted to say it again!

7-Excess Express
You just began Chapter 6 of the game and you're on a train! It's so cool! It has a nice train theme to it. It makes the list as number 8!

6-Tomorrow Hill
IT HAS LYRICS! Is it just me but does the voice say "taco bell stand". Anyways, this song is so cool. That boss stage is very annoying though.

5-Tiki Tong Song
I love Donkey Kong Country Returns. I don't have it but I rented it from Blockbuster. I love this song a little too much! You are getting sleepy...

4-Smorg Battle Music
I love Smorg so much because it is so weird and gross! AND IT'S MUSIC IS SO GOOD I COULD EAT A MILLION TARANTULAS! Whoa! I took it a little too far there! Anyways, I like it because it is very um...good!

3-Brobot L Type Music
It's very techno. Very very techno. Mr. L was not my favorite boss (Mimi was!). But his second bot caught my attention; by his sound. A very good song and number 3!

Top 5 Best and Worst Super Smash Bros. Brawl Characters

Hello! I love SSBB so much that I've decided to make a post of the top 5 best and worst characters! so we'll start by doing the worst and move to the best!

5 WORST-Olimar
His down attack doesn't attack at all; but calls his lost Pikmin to his aid. But why does he suck? Because if he loses a Pikmin. He can pluck one right up! I think the down attack should have been something different. His final smash rocks though.

4 WORST- Mario
Yep. The plumber we all know and love is bad at fighting. But why is he bad? Because his down attack. FLUDD can't deal any damage and takes a while to operate. His final smash is epic; but bad.

3 WORST-Ganondorf
He might be almighty but that doesn't mean he's a good brawler. Since he is the slowest character in the game and is a slower Captain Falcon; this guy deserves number three.

2 WORST- Mr. Game & Watch
I can't find out how to work his down attack and he overall sucks. His main attack is throwing food at you. The judge attack works sort of well but it doesn't do much damage unless you get an eight or nine.

Now what could be the most horrible, bad and ultimately weak character? But before we say that. We'll recap.

5-Olimar

4-Mario

3-Ganondorf

2-Mr. Game & Watch

1...
SONIC!
I love the idea for Sonic so much. But if you put him in terms of fighting. He is so weak. Since all his attacks are basically the same and are very weak. This guy is the worst SSBB character in my opinion. Plus his final smash sucks.

Now for the good characters!

5-Samus
Samus is so awesome! All her attacks are rad; my favorite attack is the laser she shoots out. Her final smash is also one of the most complex final smashes. She shoots a POWERFUL laser that will KO your opponents. But what happens after that? She becomes Zero Suit Samus and becomes weaker; but is still a great character.

4-Kirby
HIIIIIIIIIII guys! Kirby can be any character with his copy ability. He can attack as many times as you want. He also has the most powerful defense move in the game; it can even outsmart MARTH'S final smash. His hammer also can cook up some damage. Hey, talking about cooking; did you see his final smash?

3-Luigi
Yep. He's even better than Mario. Do you guys wanna hear something? I like Luigi better than Mario in mostly all games; Mario Kart, Mario Party and Mario Galaxy. Luigi's Mansion was better than Mario is Missing; why was it better? BECAUSE IT HAD LUIGI'S NAME IN IT! Okay. Sorry for overacting. He is still a VERY good character though. And another thing is his final smash which is very weird.

2-Captain Falcon
Falcon PUNCH! Captain Falcon is one of my all time favorite characters, obviously. Now why is he so good? Everything. He is just like Ganondorf except he is faster and a tiny bit less powerful. His final smash is also very damage dealing.

Now what is the most awesome brawl character yet? Let's recap.

5-Samus

4-Kirby

3-Luigi

2-Captain Falcon

1...
Birdo!
I needed to stick something like that in.

REAL 1...
NESS!
Ness has attacks like no other. He can us PK Fire unlimited times and PK Thunder is so cool. His final smash could have done some work but who cares. He is the most powerful, awesome and best character in the game.

Thank you for reading!

Animal Crossing: City Folk-FUN!

Animal Crossing: City Folk is a great game. But why is it fun? Because this is all the fun stuff you can do!

1-Donate to the museum (of course)
2-Upgrade Nook's (I'm on Nookway)
3-Stick neighbors in pitfalls (They will get mad)
4-Dig for treasures (I still hate Gyroids)
5-Push neighbors around (They'll get mad)
6-Go coelacanth fishing (they only appear when it's raining)
7-Play over Wi-Fi! (The best way to have fun)

There is tons of more stuff but this is my best way to have fun!

Stages in Super Smash Bros 3DS/DS

Well I was thinking how much I love Super Smash Bros Brawl. Because of that I was thinking of writing down some possible stages if it came out on the 3DS/DS.

Bowser Airship
Waluigi Pinball
Pokemon Stadium III
Koikori Village
Butter Building
Crateria
Nookingtons
Jungle Hijinxs
Underworld
Twoson
Nintendo DS
SPECIAL STAGES:
Emerald Hill Zone
Pac-Maze

These are just some of them. There will likely be much more.

Super Smash Bros Brawl Review

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is one of the games in the critically acclaimed Super Smash Bros. Series. Now what do I think? You'll find out soon enough.

Presentation:
The presentation is very nice. You also get to collect trophies, stickers and did I mention you can actually build your OWN stage. The controls are perfect. Let's say you're used to holding that GameCube controller, can be done or if you like the Wiimote and Nunchuck, can be done. The score is...96!

Sound:
Really. It's basically classic Nintendo tracks. But even better. The music is a masterpiece. The sound effects are funny too, like when Kirby goes "HIIIIIIIIIIIII!" There really isn't much to say about it but it is worth a...100!

Graphics:
What? Why does Mario look so real in the game? Yep, realistic sprites of characters. Move back 64 Mario, Realistic Mario is coming in. Plus the backgrounds of the stages are so good and the stages themself! The score is...100!

Gameplay:
POW! BASHKAM! BAAAAAAAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The game is simple. You KO your opponents to get points and if your opponent KOs you. You lose a point. The 4 special moves are super fun to use and it's always fun to taunt. My favorite character right now is Captaiin Falcon. The score is...100!

Preservation:
Probably the biggest downer. I mean. They could have stuck Shadow in or maybe just put Waluigi in. But it will still keep you going for the while. Still, it has a wide amount of characters and stages. Score is...95!

Overall:
One of the best fighting games. Wait? It IS the best fighting game. This is highly recommended for any hardcore gamer and the majority of casual gamers too. The score is...98!

Top 6 Scariest Mario Bosses

We've all thought Mario was innocent and cute. Well sometimes it can get well...scary.
I know I'm doing a post that should be done in October but I have the urge to do it and I don't wanna wait til' October.

Each boss comes with a song and a description and a picture.

6-Tubba Blubba's Heart

Wait...There is an organ for a boss? That's just CREEPY! Now this boss is the boss of Chapter 3 of Paper Mario. Well technically Tubba Blubba is the boss but he is basically too easy so this guy is sort of the true boss. The creepiest thing about him is his eyes and that fur. His music is epic too.

5-Smithy (True Form)

Now everybody hates Smithy. Who causes all that annoying stuff in Mario RPG.
But what is so annoying about him? His HEAD. His plain head. Look at his mouth. It looks like just weird fangs. WHY COULD HAVE THEY KEPT THE UN-SCARY SMITHY!!! (I have never fought this boss)

4-Chauncey

Goo goo ga-RUN!!! Luigi's Mansion is known for being a sort of scary game. Chauncey is this crazed baby who grows giant and tries to kill you. Now ghosts are creepy and giant babies creeep me out. Mix them together and this is what you get. He attacks with kids toys, how original!

3-B0gmire

Whoa! Luigi's Mansion is scary. Now this guy makes Chauncey look like a Koopa. He lives in a SCARY graveyard and can teleport. The way he is sort of liquidy is scary.

2-Bouldergeist

WHAT IS THAT THING?????? It is three words. Gives you nightmares. Now the boss itself is extremely scary. But to make it worst it's true form is disgustingly gross. I can't post a picture so try Googling "Bouldergeist true form" The music is cool.

Before 1...We shall recap...

6-Tubba Blubba Heart

5-Smithy (TRUE)

4-Chauncey

3-Bogmire

2-Bouldgeist

1...

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SUPER PAPER MARIO!!!!!!!!

SUPER DIMENTIO!

WHAT IS THAT...THING????!!!!! It's scary of course. Now clowns are very scary in my opinion. Giant insane clowns that look like Luigi are even scarier. The weird chain he's attached to is crazy. And that fist is even creepier. When he dies his head falls off. Luckily no blood. THE BOSS MUSIC IS EPIC!

Thank you for reading.

Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Review

Paper Mario: TTYD (better known as Paper Mario 2) is an RPG game for the GameCube. Let's see how it is.

Presentation:
When you first start the game you know something good is coming. The controls are more than simple to learn. The cutscenes are also legendary too. Menu is also good too. Score is...90!

Sound:
Songs for almost every occasion. Some of the themes will get stuck in your head. You are sure to love about 99 percent of the music. Sounds are good too. It was good how they added voices to the characters instead of silent characters in the original Paper Mario. The music and sounds are basically flawless. Score is...100!

Graphics:
Almost perfect. It might be papery and all that. It might be me but some people complain about the 2D graphics. But what they're forgetting is that it's called "Paper Mario" not "3D Mario" I do think the graphics could have done a tiny bit more work though. The score has to be...95!

Gameplay:
A bit too good. If I could give it over 100 I would. But I guess 100 is the limit. When you first start the game you'll be in Rogueport. A weird town filled with thieves. Then you'll go to the desperately annoying but fun Great Tree and the funnest chapter in my opinion called "Of Glitz and Glory" also there is one chapter called "For Whom Pigs The Bell Tolls" or at least that is close to what is called. The battle system is perfect too. Score is...100!

Preservation:
I have not even completed the game yet. Why? Because they make you fight THREE extremely challenging bosses in a row. I don't want to ruin the game so that is all I'll say. I haven't reached the third boss who is the final boss yet. But I've seen the second one and finished the first one. I am not sure if there is replay value. So I'll leave that out. Maybe there is. Score is...100!

Overall:
The best GameCube game yet. One of the best Mario games. It's in the top 5 at least. The battle system was good. The music was outstanding and the overall is...97!

Mario Kart Wii Review

Mario Kart Wii is a racing game for the Wii. One of the best games ever. Let's go over it, shall we?

Presentation:
Save files are a great addition. That way you can challenge your sibling, mom, dad or roomie to play. Controls are wonderful. I play with the Wii Remote. Just the Wii Remote itself. No wheel. I also love the menu. The score has to be...80!

Sound:
The tracks are great! Did I mention they did voices for Dry Bowser? Sorry if I spoiled that. The sound when you do a trick is basically refreshing. Some music like Toad's Factory is just amazing. If you like hearing good music. Try to get this game. The score is...90!

Graphics:
It's a Wii game. What can you get out of it? Good graphics. The most the Wii can do. I would give it a lower score but 10 points because it's about all the Wii can do. Score is...80!

Gameplay:
...Just too good. So many tracks, so many ways to play. The Wi-Fi is just amazing. Playing with a friend is fun also. Even the Time Trials are really fun. I have to give it a perfect score...100!

Preservation:
Wait?! I unlocked all the characters, tracks and karts? What do I do? I know what to do. Beat your time in Time Trials or play with a friend forever. The game is particularly endless. Just another score that is unbelievable...100!

Overall:
Basically a great game. The best Mario Kart ever. If you're a Excite Truck fan or just a plain race car driver. This game is absolutely wonderful. Score is...90!

Super Mario All Stars: Limited Edition Review

Super Mario All Stars: Limited Edition (SMASLE for short) is a collection of four super Mario games, a CD and a Mario history booklet.
Now we're going to see the scores!

Presentation:
The box is great. There's a engraved Mario on it. The menu for the game? Nothing much. So it's basically a remake of the SNES version. Big deal. The CD boxart is OKAY. The cover on the booklet is the best as it is an 8-bit Mario made up of little scenes from Mario games. Controls are simple too. The score is...65!

Sound:
All the classic Mario sounds. Not anything different from the SNES version. SMASLE is a remake. What are you gonna get out of it? I still love it though. Maybe they could change it a bit more. Score is...70!

Graphics:
Good for the early 90's. I didn't feel they needed to make it like New Super Mario Bros. But maybe some changes. The graphics are good. But as I've been saying. This a port of SMAS. The score is...65!

Gameplay:
It's four games on one disc. I can't give all of them a score. But I'll put all of them together.
Okay...I think with all those great games...The score is 90!

Preservation:
You play. You play again. Nothing much to say here. The games will keep you addicted if you haven't beat it. But after you're done...PLOP! You're done. Score is...70!

Overall:
Okay. This game is good. But they needed some changes from the SNES version. The extras aren't that great either. But on the other behalf. You're expecting some good stuff.
Score is...72!

Hope you liked this review. My recommendation scale is on the positive side. But remember, the extras aren't the best. If you want this game for the games. Buy it. All the games are great!

Animal Crossing: City Folk Review

This is a great game. Basically for two reasons. A. It's another Animal Crossing game. B. Wi-Fi with friends.

I have decided to do a more accurate reviewing system. I'm rating games on a score to 1 to 100 and I am dropping the technical stat. It will be included in presentation now. I will then take a look back at my scores and see the average score.

Presentation:
The menu is good. Maybe the part where Rover talks to you could do some work though. Nooks shop is really developed. Even the cranny which gives you a nice feel to beginning the game. I like both of the controls too. The score is...80!

Sound:
The music is nice and relaxed. I don't exactly like it but it fits at least. Everybody knows about the annoying villagers voices. Some high some low. I like how the music changes depending on time of day. Score is...60!

Graphics:
What I'd be expecting on the Wii. Sorta boring 3D. I'm not saying I don't like the graphics. Neither do I like them. The score has got to be 50.

Gameplay:
You shop, you get broke and you sell. It's life. Bad things happen, good things happen. Pluck weeds, plant trees, annoy villagers. So much fun! This is a 90!

Preservation:
Keep playing this. This is a game that never finishes. So you might get something like 99,9999 bells. But you aren't done yet. Villagers come, villagers go. The score is 95.

Overall:
I highly recommend it to casual gamers. Hardcore gamers might find it too relaxed. The average score is 75. One of the best Wii games to exist. Some life simulation games like Sims 3 top it off but this is much better for children.

Stories Are Torture

Mario: Another day to be tortured in a story.

A brick falls on Mario’s head.

Mario: CHEESE!

Mario: I hate saying that! I’m allergic to dairy in the first place!

Mario: I’m a Mario!

Mario: GRRR!

Luigi: Hi Mario! You stupid idiot!

Mario: I’M AN IDIOT! WOOHOO!

Luigi: I HATE SAYING THAT MARIO IS STUPID!

Waluigi walks in, he falls in a pit.

Waluigi: THAT WAS UNNECESSARY!

Writer: Well yada yada yada!

Waluigi: EEK! I’M SCARED!

Waluigi: But I got the award for Mushroom Kingdoms 6th Bravest Man!

The background changes to Ice Land.

Luigi: Brr!

Lemmy: HAHA! I HAVE A FREEZE GUN!

Lemmy shoots the freeze gun at Mario.

Mario is now frozen.

Luigi: Thank god...WHO THE HELL IS WRITING THIS %$^&!

Writer: I am

Luigi punches the writer. But he dodges.

Luigi: Making yourself seem perfect! Bring back my brother!

Writer: Fine!

Mario unfreezes.

Mario: CHEESE!

Lemmy dies.

Luigi: YOU’RE A MURDERER!

Luigi: Oh yeah! I’m the writer now!

The writer kills Luigi.

Writer: I HAVE SUPREME VICTORY!

Waluigi: EEK!

Waluigi runs away.

Waluigi: HELP! I’M BEING PULLED AWAY!

Mario: OH YEAH!

Mario jumps on the writer. He ki...

Mario: HA! I’VE GOT CONTROL NOW!

The writer melts.

Writer: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mario: Let’s see...

Luigi comes back to life, so does Waluigi and Lemmy.

Luigi: THANK YOU!

Mario: There is one thing you could do...

Luigi does all Mario’s chores.

Luigi: MARIO!

Mario: That’s the way it goes.

The Most Pointless Story Ever

The Most Pointless Story Ever

Mario wakes up and mysteriously hovers downstairs.

Mario: WOOHOO!

Mario picks up his NES and smashes it against the wall. The Pillsbury Doughboy comes out.

PD: Eat Kentucky Beans!

Mario: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mario goes outside and sees Toadsworth running in circles.

Mario: What’s going on?

Toadsworth: PENCILS ARE ATTACKING!

Mario: NO!

Toadsworth becomes tiny.

Mario: HUH???

Mario goes to Peach’s castle and sees it is now golden.

Peach opens the front door.

Peach: MARIO! I WON A CUPCAKE!

Mario: CUPCAKE!

Peach eats her cupcake, her dress is now red.

Peach: I’m peachy!

Peach’s head starts spinning around and around…HEY! This is rated PG! No Exorcist stuff!

Peach is now a chicken.

Mario: FEATHER!

Mario picks up Peach and throws her in the dumpster.

Peach: NO!

Mario sees Waluigi playing hopscotch.

Waluigi: NO! THE FINAL LEVEL SCARES ME!

A bat appears in Mario’s hand and he bangs Waluigi with it.

Waluigi: YOING!

One trillion coins come out from Waluigi’s nose.

Mario: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mario picks up a coin and runs back to his house to see it is now tiny.

Mario opens the tiny door.

Pillsbury Doughboy: KENTUCKY BEANS!

Mario: NOOOOO!!!

Mario cuts the PD up with a pencil.

Mario’s house is bigger again, Peach is now normal and Waluigi is not rich.

Luigi: Hey Mario, your NES broke so I got you a new one.

Mario smashes the NES.

Luigi: THAT COST THIRTY COINS!

The PD comes out again.

PD: Kentucky beans!

Mario: NOT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Moral: Don’t smash your NES.

The End

The Pillsbury doughboy is not owned by me or neither is all the Mario characters.
