Monopoly Streets Review

Okay, My last review was going to be Super Mario Bros 2 but I don't like that game. So Monopoly it is!

Presentation:
The game succeeds in this category. There are 2 boards to start out with, a classic board and city. The city is well polished and looks nice, but something bothered me about it, I enjoyed playing on the classic boards better. There are also unlockable boards such as a sweet board, a cheese board and my favorite, a cardboard board. There's also a Landmark City, but I hated the Landmark City. I also like that when you buy a house or hotel it's building will correspond with the value. For example if you get a hotel on Baltic Avenue (low value), you get a motel. If you get something like a pink. It gives you a nicer hotel.
I give this a 85.

Sound:
Have you ever played a game with music and sound effects so annoying but it was good. Well this game is my experience with that experience above. This game is so annoying when it comes to sound. The voices are annoying, especially the Top Hat (which I always played as because it was just so annoying yet funny). Mr. Monopoly wasn't so annoying but he was annoying to listen to over and over again. Music wasn't that annoying. Trust me, you'll never forget those voices. Trust me.
This is hard to judge because it's funny but annoying. So I'm going give this a balanced score. I give it a 50.

Graphics:
They were what you would have expected with a Wii game. Not too bad, not too good either. The character and building models looked decent enough. I give this a 70.

Gameplay:
It's Monopoly, you can't beat it. The gameplay is classic. And to make things more fun they add in a city, different boards and a fun atmosphere. I give this an 100

Lasting Appeal:
The game is replayable, but just like a lot of board games. It's a shelf sitter. But you will probably pull it out at game nights with family and friends. Unlockable content also delivers. I give this a 89.

Overall:
I liked this game. It lasted long and had lots of different boards to play on. But the sound and graphics didn't work for me. But I thought the gameplay was classic and memorable.
I give Monopoly Streets a 79!
